We Interrupt This Movie
Two friends, with questionable qualifications, talk about the best and sometimes worst movies of all time. If we fancy ourselves to be quality movie buffs, be warned. Our opinions are usually correct, even if they don't always align.
We Interrupt This Movie
Magnolia (1999)

Paul Thomas Anderson swings for the fences with Magnolia, and we’re here for every wild, messy, emotional minute of it. In this episode, we dig into PTA’s bold storytelling, the interconnected characters, and that absolutely stacked cast—Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, William H. Macy, and especially Tom Cruise, who shows up, burns the house down, and leaves you questioning everything (respect the c**k, indeed). We talk frogs, feelings, and whether this movie is a masterpiece or just three movies wearing a trench coat. One thing’s for sure: we will not be using the phrase “coincidence” lightly ever again.
Hosted by Tage Sickler, Derek Wehrman and Steve Teasdale.
Theme song and incidental music composed and performed by ST.
